No. The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene hard floor cleaner can mop wet and dry spills, so you can enjoy the benefits of a wet floor cleaner without needing to vacuum first.

Unlike standard floor mops or wet floor cleaners, the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene hard floor cleaner is engineered for wet and dry cleaning. This includes dry debris like fine dust and hair to sticky spills and stains.

Yes. The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene hard floor cleaner is engineered with a fine-bristled motorised roller brush to extract all types of hair (including pet hair) without getting tangled.

Use only gentle, low-foaming common household detergents and never use bleach. Be sure to always follow the dilution directions on the cleaning solution, and avoid adding undiluted detergent to the clean water tank. We recommend using the Dyson 02 Probiotic Hard floor cleaning solution which is specifically formulated to work with all Dyson wet cleaners.

Unlike machines with body-mounted tanks and internal pipes, the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene hard floor cleaner waste system design prevents clogs and streamlines maintenance.

Exhaust filters can trap moisture and particles, which can compromise the performance of a machine and create odours. The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene hard floor cleaner doesn't expel air, so it doesn't require an exhaust filter to clean.

The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene wet and dry cleaner is equipped with a self-cleaning and hot air-drying function that minimises the need for regular manual maintenance. We recommend emptying both the clean and dirty water tanks and debris tray after every clean.
