Keeping your vacuums clean and well maintained will help keep your vacuum performing at maximum efficiency.
We suggest you clean your vacuum filter once a month to keep your machine running at maximum efficiency. Here's how:
- Remove your filter from your machine and remove any excess dust by lightly taping on the side of your bin or sink.
- Rinse your filter under the tap with warm water, gentling rubbing wih your hands. Don't use detergents.
- Fill your filter with warm tap water. Cover the open ends with your hands and shake firmly to remove the dirt. Repeat until the water runs clear.
- Shake the filter to remove all excess water and leave to dry for at least 24 hours. Your filter must be completely dry before you put it back into the machine, or it could damage the motor.
