  1. Electrical current generates heat
    When you switch the heater on, electrical current flows through a resistive heating element. This causes the material to heat up – a result of what’s called the Joule effect, which converts electrical energy directly into thermal energy.

    Once the thermal energy has been generated, the built-in fan pushes air over the heated element. As the air passes through, it picks up heat and begins to rise in temperature, then exits the machine as a continuous, directed stream of warmth.
  3. Circulates warm air
